For a couple of years now, I have seen Camino Real spring up from a hill in an growing part of town and it was finally time for a visit.
This restaurant has a very Texas feel to it from the courtyard to the leather booths to the 15 foot high bar walls. I felt comfortable there and that was a plus.
I ordered the brisket tacos and my order was very well filled. The tacos consisted of a corn tortilla, cheese, another tortilla, then the shredded, juicy brisket. They came with tasty rice, refried beans and a serving of bbq sauce.
The meal was excellent to say the least and I would definitely go back when I'm in the area.
Also on the menu were green enchiladas, which were also done the right way. Both dishes came to us on hot plates and that you could tell had been carefully prepared and served.
